“SINKING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN”

8 x 10" original acrylic painting within 8 x 10” frame. This painting is a beloved part of my monumental 2021 acrylic painting collection. Based from my thoughts on what happens to a whale when they die, they slowly stop swimming, and in most cases start sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I thought it was very sad, but I felt at home embracing that sadness as the reality of living.
